Following 3 years with Sydney based chartered accountants Irish Young and Outhwaite, Wayne Dearing joined Hanna Barbera Australia in 1978 as their Finance Controller, later to take over the reigns as Studio Manager of their Australian operation.
In 1988, Wayne joined Australia’s largest independent electronic media company, Broadcom Australia, as General Manager to their New South Wales and Victorian Facilities. Following Broadcom’s successful take over of Network 10 in 1990, Wayne became an integral member of the executive team that was charged with the responsibility of absorbing Network 10’s facilities into Broadcom’s own.
Wayne’s Philippines’ experience began in 1991 through Hanna Barbera Inc (United States) when appointed as General Manager to their Manila based studios. In 1994, Wayne then moved to American owned, Philippine Animation Studios, where he remained as Chief Executive Officer until mid 1999.
In November 1999, Wayne started Manila based Top Draw Animation and in the ensuing six years has grown it into one of today’s leading animation Outsourcing companies. Wayne has been Managing Director of Top Draw Animation since 1999 and TD Outsourcing (Accounting Services) since 2005. |
