One of our most successful strategies was clearly our decision in 2004 to relocate to The Philippine Stock Exchange Centre. Access to such expansive and impressive facilities provided the very backbone for our subsequent expansion and shift to IT. By the end of 2006 we had completed our state-of-the-art fit-out for the majority of our total 1,749 sqm floor area and deployed a further 84 Flash workstations. Animation Café returned bigger and better than ever and now provides an exciting venue for the R & R of Top Draw staff.
Training and development was an integral part of our strategies for controlled growth and, as part of that agenda, a further 120 Flash artists were successfully trained and deployed onto new projects.
The growing ICT and Outsourcing sectors were the big business news stories in the Philippines for the year. Call centres led the way and are already reported to employ more than 200,000 people. Close behind is the growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector and international commentators see the Philippines as being the leading destination for multi-nationals and their outsourcing agenda in the coming years.
Top Draw became an active member of the Business Process Outsourcing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) and leads the way for the animation sector.
