Without any doubt, the landmark for this year is the introduction of Flash as a television production platform. We had been looking at Flash for a while. Bullish forecasts were heralded throughout the early years of the new millennium about the revolutionary impact of this new medium, and they were correct, if not a little early. Lacking the appetite for pioneer status, we waited and watched until Flash made commercial sense...and 2004 is the year that these proverbial chickens came home to roost.
Studio B were at the forefront of this new technology for TV and with them, we pushed Flash to the limits and now consider ourselves to be a leader in this field. Flash now constitutes more than half of our annual output. It offers a better economic proposition to our clients for appropriately designed shows and doesn’t adversely impact on quality. Flash continues to be our fastest growing division
